Temporary Change of Focus

You may have noticed that it has been three weeks since the last episode of Forensic 4cast was released.  How very observant of you!

Running this website and the podcast takes more time than you think. I record interviews and other content, I edit the audio files, I look for news stories, and I (occasionally) write articles, not to mention the time I spent doing the Forensic 4cast awards last year.

I’m not kidding when I say that maintaining Forensic 4cast is like having another job.

Over the next two months there will be little happening on the site.  I have a presentation coming up on April 19-20 at the SANS EU Summit in London.  Most of my free time will be focussed on the content for this presentation.  I believe that it will be well worth my hard work and effort as I now have the chance to become recognised in the field for more than just having a podcast. I’ve always wanted to work on something that others may consider ‘groundbreaking’ and I believe that I’m on the cusp.

Over the coming weeks I’m going to be dedicating all of my resources to getting this right. I’ll be releasing an article/paper about my findings immediately after the presentation so you don’t feel left out if you can’t attend. However, if you wish to attend and see my presentation in full you can register on the SANS registration page at https://www.sans.org/registration/register.php?conferenceid=20959.
