Greeting all, what an interesting 2020 we’ve had so far. I trust that you and your family are well and safe.
The nominees have been counted and I’m very proud to announce the voting for the 2020 Forensic 4:cast Awards is now open.
Please take the time to post your votes for your favorites.
Also, note that I’ve now fully retired the threat intel category. We simply don’t get very many nominations here so it is going to ride off into the sunset.
Another surprise is that the Book of the Year category is also missing from the lineup this year. We had very few nominations here and even those were all from 2020, or before 2019. No nominations were given for books published in 2019, so we’ve had to exclude that category this year.
Finally, the voting will run up until the awards ceremony at the SANS DFIR Summit. This is usually held in Austin, Texas but due to COVID-19 concerns, the summit will be held virtually this year. You can go here to learn more: https://www.sans.org/event/digital-forensics-summit-2020.
So that’s it. Go vote! https://forensic4cast.com/forensic-4cast-awards/2020-forensic-4cast-awards/
