Sick

Simon was allowed a week off, now I have to concede and say sorry to everyone.  Last week our kids were sick and, inevitably it was passed on to myself. Oh joy!

I spent a night camped out in the bathroom, scared to move more than a few feet away, if at all.

But don’t be worried, Simon and I will actually be recording a new episode in just a few days time, this time we’ll both be at the same desk, at the same computer so the sound quality should be the best yet (pity about the content).

Oh, by the way.  I’m thinking about running a small advert on the site.  This would mainly be for purchasing items for competitions and the like.  Give me your feedback about it.

  1. Isn’t some of the information you give in your podcasts confidential? People have a right to a fair trial but you seem to be prejudicing that by providing details about work you’re involved with.

  2. Thanks for the comment, I’m interested to hear what particular information you’re referring to. We try to keep things very generic. If we refer to a case we do not disclose any of the case specifics but if you feel that we’ve crossed a line somewhere please let us know where.

  3. Lee,

I dont think you have crossed the line anywhere, I think you are doing very well keeping it generic like you said. If the criminals are going to figure it out..they will, there no stopping them.

Keep up the great work Lee and Simon!

  4. Hey, I’ve been listening to these podcasts on my drive home from work and they are really good. Sound quality is not great (Lee is really loud and Simon is really quiet) but seems to gradually improve with each release.
I think advertising would be fine, its so common these days people are used to it and I’d certainly prefer it to losing your podcast or having to pay for it 🙂

Keep up the good work and get well soon
